He completed his Pain Fellowship at University of Michigan Hospital and also has a Ph.D. in Neurosurgery. He has authored many articles which have been printed in international medical Journals. Dr. Chakrabortty's areas of clinical interest include neuropathic pain, chronic low back pain, radiofrequency-both pulsed and ablation, neuromodulation, intrathecal drug delivery, discography and discectomy and is experienced in the most advanced minimally invasive treatments for chronic pain. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine. In addition to English, Dr. Chakrabortty also speaks Bengali & Japanese
