Fuleihan, M.D. Dr. Fuleihan is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with advanced training in pain management and subspecialty certifications in Pain Medicine and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Fuleihan completed his residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School). He is the Medical Director of University Pain Clinic and holds the positions of Clinical Associate Professor-Department of Anesthesiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Director of the Anesthesia Pain Service at Harper University Hospital/Detroit Medical Center, Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology at Harper University Hospital/DMC and Specialist in Chief - Department of Anesthesiology / DMC. He is also active on many DMC committees. Dr. Fuleihan has presented many pain related lectures both nationally and internationally and is a sought after speaker. He has over two decades of pain management expertise. His special interests in pain management are autonomic-sympathetic nerve blocks and Preemptive Analgesia. In addition to English, Dr. Fuleihan is fluent in Arabic and French.
