Todd E. Lininger, M.D.
Dr. Lininger is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with advanced
training in pain management and subspecialty certifications in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.  He graduated with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine where he holds a position of Clinical Assistant Professor and is Director of the Anesthesiology Pain Medicine Fellowship program.  He completed his residency in Anesthesiology and also his Fellowship in Pain Medicine at Sinai Hospital. 

Dr. Lininger is well known as an established leader in interventional p
ain management and minimally invasive Pain treatment and is highly respected locally and nationally as a physician and teacher. He is a
highly requested lecturer, has written and published multiple articles and is active in clinical trials in pain issues.  He has been selected to hold
committee positions from the Michigan State Medical Society and American Society of Anesthesiologists.  Many of the physicians trained and mentored by Dr. Lininger are now respected leaders in the field of pain management.

He is able to provide many treatment options to his patients at University Pain Clinic including spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain, intradiscal electro-thermal therapy (IDET) for chronic low back pain, discography, nucleoplasty, and disc decompression along with all other forms of interventional management of pain.

Dr. Lininger has completed a Masters Degree in Theology at Mary Grove College and is active in integrating alternative and complementary therapies into his practice.   He is also skilled in acupuncture.
